As the Performance Marketing Manager for Scootup, my role was to support in
store sales through digital advertising. Since electric scooters are high value
products, most customers prefer to see and test them before buying. The focus was
to drive real showroom visits and test ride bookings rather than online purchases.
Over time, this approach delivered 38,900+ in store conversions while keeping costs
extremely low and results consistent. The main goals were to increase showroom
footfall, reduce cost per conversion, and improve engagement from local, high
intent customers near physical stores.
OUTCOMES:
Total in store conversions: 38,900+
Total clicks generated: 565,000
Lifetime cost per conversion: $2.40
Cost per conversion reduced from $5.21 to $1.46 (72% improvement)
CTR increased from 1.40% to 2.44%
Peak conversion rate achieved: 16.30%
